No. 18 would be better. Teenagers just aren't responsible enough like they used to be.
I got my license @ 16 and ruined my driving record pretty much permanently. Costs me thousands upon thousands of dollars, hours upon hours of time, possible jobs, my reputation. If I was 18 when I had gotten my license I most likely wouldn't have gotten into all that trouble. You're more responsible and think much more rationally. Automobile crashes are also the highest cause of death among teenagers. |

Depends on the persons maturity. Driving a car is a big responsibility for a teenager. They should be responsible. |

it depends on the person.some people could start driving at 12 and be ok.some people should'nt be driving at 30. |

If you're asking for opinions, no. I think 19 is the better age for starting to drive. Drivers who are younger than 19, get distracted easier than other drivers. watch some driving videos in a driving school, and you'll see what I mean. |

I myself started driving at age 15, and have never had an accident, however each child is different, although, if you are mature for your age, I am sure that you can do much better at driving than some older people.
Good luck, drive safely once you have passed your drivers test, and received your license and purchased auto insurance, and use your seat belt please! |

Any age above, the legal age, is great time to start to learn how to drive. |

Its 16 years of age in Ontario, Canada. I feel it is an appropriate age. For the first year while learning they must drive with a qualified driver in the passenger seat. Graduated licencing is a good idea |

17 is the right age to start fukcing. kids need to have their license for that so 16 is the right age to drive. |

I think so, its around that age where people need to get around etc for school, uni, work etc. Any younger and there would probably be more accienents. But any older and kids will miss out and be disadvantaged. |

no, they are still too young. The amount of people i know that have crashed under the age of 21 is ridiculous. They can't go out drinking so how do they get the responsibility of a car at that age?
but then shouldn't there be an age limit for older people such as 60?
As they're not exactly the best drivers at that age either! |

NO, any age is not right, it should be estimated by sanity, I myself could've started driving at 12, if i may say so.
P.S I'm 12 |

Sounds good to me as long as you know the rules of the road,
but nowadays that don't matter either, People drive like that want to drive and a cop is no where to be found when you need one. As the old saying says, it's not you , but those other crazy idiots out there that think they own the road and like to be up your A#$$$ all the time.
for those people who want to ride your bumper, I can only say one thing, if I wanted you in my van I would of picked you up first !!! that way you wouldn't have to ride my bumper |
