Does anyone know how to block cell phone signals in an automobile? ?

I have employees that use their cell phones in a federal mine that prohibit their use while operating equipment. If caught it will cost me as well as the company I work for big fines.

We have installed many cell phone blockers for many of my customers but the only thing is that have to be installed in a very good hiding place or in a box so that they cannot be turned off.

Tell them too leave there cell phones in there own personal car or get fired.

Cell phone signals penetrate glass, not metal. You only need to apply a special material (sort of a metal mesh that is coarse enough so that they can see normally, but too fine for cell phone signals to penetrate) to the windows, windshields, etc., and disable the window openers.

Alternatively, you could prohibit employees from bringing cell phones into the mine (either prohibit employees from bringing cell phones to work, or require employees to leave the cell phones in their personal cars).

There is a paint made but I do not think it would work in that situation I guess the best bet is you have to get their attention. If catch a couple get pictures and fire them. Then you will have the attention of the other idiots and they might stop.
