Does anyone know the number you can call if a suspicious unmarked car tries to pull you over?

Here in Virginia, it's *SP, or *77. It's the non-emergency number for the state police. I'm pretty sure it's the same in most states. I do a lot of driving, as my family lives in Missouri, and I remember those road signs from my trips. Some states may not have a number like that, and other states may use *HP, or *47, for "highway patrol".

they have an umarked patrol car in the area. if you feel you have
to pull over make sure its in a well lit spot with lots of people

Call 911. If you can get the license, make, model, that would also help the police. Make sure you can get as much description as you can.

the police tell you to drive to the nearest police station when in doubt, that way if their not legitamite cops they won't follow you but, if they are, they wont be able to site you for evading the police

You can call the police, or if you are really unsure, just don't let the car pull over, instead drive straight to the police station, while having the 911 operator on your phone the whole time. If the car still follows you right into the police station then it might be serious, if not the car might get scared and go away.

What state, what city, cher? If anywhere, call 9-1-1 and get the
locals to your location ASAP and they'll check out the situation for you. Never pull over for an unmarked or a blue light in a deserted area. Drive to the nearest police station or other place with a lot of people around and that is well lit, waving for the unknown to follow you. If they are legit, they will follow. If not, you're safe. Don't even pull over for an unmarked with a blue light or other flasher as we've had rape cases and abductions with criminals using flashing lights to pull over unsuspecting victims. Always be on the safe side, err on the side of caution or you may die.

if it were me id call the local emergency no,for your area,,it may be 411,and ask them what to do,,i don't know if id stop or not,it would all depend on where i was at,and what time of day or night it was,,and if it was a back road with no activity id really have to think about it,,it might be against the law not to stop,,but these days who knows who is who,anymore good luck,,i hope this help,s.

There is no such thing as a unmarked car.

When they want to pull you over, they have some sort of way to do so, whether it be hidden emergency lights, or a siren.

Call 911, tell them what's going on. They'll send a real patrol car.

Just drive to the police station. If not close enough. Go to a well lit area with people. The cop should understand. Just explain why.
