Does discovering a flat on your car that has been knifed make anyone else paranoid out there?

I found the flat on my car and had to get the spare on it. When I took the tire to the garage they said it looked like someone had knifed it. Then when I came home I found two other neighbors in my parking lot that their car tire was flattened the same way.

Now I want to sit and watch my car but can't because it gets dark and I have to close my shades. Or anyone can see inside my house.

I have reported it to the police and they said they are watching the parking lot, but we all know this isn't enough. Plus everytime I get into the car now I'm looking at my tires to see that they are ok, and I never really thought of this before now.

Yes that would make me feel paranoid, to know that my tire and the other neighbor tire was slashed.

You bet!! It's a good idea to look at your tires before driving anywhere, but in your instance, if it should continue, I'd get a burglar alarm installed that sets up a radar perimeter so if someone approaches your car the alarm will go off before that individual can get close enough to harm your car. These cost more than your standard car alarms, but might be cheaper than vandalism.

I do not get paranoid I just make sure all outside lights are on and everything is loaded.
