Driving a righthand drive vehicle in Canada/USA?

Are there any major issues that come up when driving a RHD car in North America. One problem I can envision is a difficulty making left turn at busy intersections. I can't imagine how I will be able to tell if there is any oncoming traffic if there is a car in the opposite lane also trying to turn left. A pretty common driving situation in the city. Has this been a problem for anyone? Any tips?

Yea you are right about making left turns. Also merging to the highway seems a big problem. Just make sure to keep your focus on the road and not to the mirrors and you'll be fine.

I have drivin right hand side cars in US and it does take a day or 2 getting used to, but in general I dont find it to be a problem

I drove a RHD postal jeep for several years when delivering mail on a rural route. It does take a bit of getting used to, but once you're comfortable with sitting on the "wrong side" of the car, it's not a problem. My biggest problem was opening the wrong door when getting back into my LHD car at the end of the work day.
