Driving test tmo! but i dont know speed limits?

so im taking my test in a town about 2 hours from my house, im on christmas break at my gma's house, so iv been practicing but alot of times i dont know the speed limit, all of a sudden its 25 then 50 then 40 thn 35, i dont get it, the signs are way down the street, i was already supposed to slow down, problem is they fail u if u go 5 over or under, thats really easy to do if i dont know the speed limit. question 2- if im at a school area where it says 25 when children present then do i keep regualr speed of road b4 like 40 when school is not in session? or do i still go 25?

Take note of what the speed limits are as you're riding to the testing place. When you see a speed limit, that is the speed you drive until you see the next speed limit sign. When school is not in session, you go the regular speed limit, not the limited one. However, going a bit slower than you think the limit is will be fine. Good luck!

I'm in Kansas and every state is different.
I don't know about your drivers test it sounds way different than mine, Mine was not in town at all.
speed limit signs are posted to let you know you need to change your speed as soon as you see it. I know I'm not much help.
? 2: in short yes you keep the regular road speed.
most "25 when children present"signs ether have lights and say "when flashing" or posted time frames as to when you need to drive 25 (like you can really read them driving down the road!) usually within two hours of school going in & out of session 6-8am & 2-4pm
I have learned not to worry about it because when you need to drive 25 in a school zone there is always heavy traffic driving 25 and you cant drive any faster IF you wanted to :0)

School zones are typically in effect during certain hours (like 7 to 7) according to the school zone sign or "when children are present".

Beyond that, pay attention. If you struggle that much to notice road signs, then I suggest delaying your test until you're more experienced. The rest of us will be thankful.

You need to follow the speed limit and yes they will fail both for going over the speed limit as well as going under the speed limit.

The school speed limit posted is for only when school is in session or if the lights are flashing........

just go 25 the whole time, you cant fail a test for going to slow
