Driving with closed windows without AC.?

I have a car without AC. During rain when all the windows are closed I am unable to drive because the windshield becomes foggy and unclear. Also if I keep the window open the rain enters inside. If I use the wiper to clear the windshield the rain water while getting wiped is entering inside the car if the window is left open. We are unable to open the car window during rain because I think the top width of the car is smaller and the water drips into the car when the windows are open. If the top width was slightly broader than the base of the car the water falling on the car would have slipped away and not entered through the car. Kindly suggest ways to keep the window glass open while driving during rain so that I can see the rear view mirror?

YOU can buy special plastic door/window things that allow you to open the window without any rain coming in.

use your heater to clear windshield.the defrost mod. they make a a thing that goes in the window slot that deflect wind and rain . can not think of name. [wind deflector. check j.c.whiteny catalogs.]

I don't have AC either, I use the demisters.

Use the blower on the windsceen setting.

you can buy wind defenders for all sorts of makes of cars this will also deflect the rain from getting in your car and you can open the windows a good couple a inches

Make sure you don't have you fan on circulating the air inside the car or your car will mist up due to the moisture coming from your breath.it must draw the air from outside.

You can get special weather guards that fit right around the window opening that keeps rain from coming in. I see it mostly on trucks and it doesn't look bad at all.

use your windscreen demister with circulation of air set to allow recirculation from outside at full blow with heat setting at max. during rain, the temperature is usually at or around the temperature you would get from an aircon so u can use that to your advantage. aircons only help to speed up the process but it is totally doable without them, though it may take a wee bit longer
