I am interested in taking driver's ed in New York State to get a senior license at age 17 (only if you take Driver's Ed, not a commercial driving school), but the only place near me (Dutchess County) is at a college and its $642 for 32 sessions (16 classroom / 16 on the road). I read of people in other states doing it for around $300. Is the one in my area expensive considering how many sessions there are, or is it on par (~$20 per session)?
