Failed a NC saftey inspection?

My car failed a NC saftey inspection because the window tint was too dark. My car is too old to require the emissions test. Do I have to take it to the same inspection station for the reinspection?

No you have to remove the tint count yourself lucky You haven't been ticketed for it already.

My girlfriends car failed the NC Vehicle Inspection required to renew her car registration. The code that came up stated that the issue was a fuel sensor however my mechanic states there is nothing wrong with the sensor and this is most likely a computer error. We have had the computer reset.... no help. I took the car to the volkswagon dealership and they want 1700.00 to repair. The car is not worth that much. My girlfriend is disabled and we are financially unable to comply however we need the vehicle to get her to her many doctors appointments. I s there a waiver we can get our mechanic to fill out???
