Find someone who is willing to get up with you early on a Saturday or Sunday morning or late at night between midnight and 2am. There is hardly anyone on the roads at this time you will be able to practice all of the things that you need to with out the anxiety of being around a lot of people. Pick a point in town and plan how you are going to get there before you get on the road.

When you are in a car as a passenger pay attention to what others are doing around you. You have to learn how to anticipate what people will do. Driving is much like playing chess you have to think 2 to 3 moves ahead of the people around you.

Always pay attention to cars that are 2 or 3 car lengths ahead of you because I guarantee the car that is directly in front of you is following the person in front of them entirely to close and the person in back of you is on your tail.

The only way to relax while driving is to not be in a hurry and to know exactly where you are going and how to get there. The 1st 2 years that I started driving I never listened to the radio.

Last thing the act of positive thinking. Yes, I know it is a cliche but it is the truth if you believe that you will fail it will happen if you believe you can do it you will. Trust yourself

It is perfectly normal for beginners to have a fear of driving. When I was 25, I too had a fear. Instead of worrying about my driving capabilities, I worried about my destination. Just keep your goal in mind; and stay away from James Bond movies, lol. I hope that helps. :)

just calm down. driving is easy and natural. try an empty parking lot in the daylight, just drive around, then work ur way up to small residential streets. eventually, itll flow naturally and become second nature

take your time. Only you can decide when your brave enough to drive. I'm the only senior at school who cannot drive! I have severe anxiety (you might too by the sounds of it) just take your time, take some deep calming breaths and dont use the radio, it can be distracting. You'll get it. I'm finally starting to.

The only way to overcome a fear is to work to overcome it. Practice driving on back roads where there is less traffic until you're confident. I know it's not easy, but if you persist, you'll eventually become an expert driver. Trust me; my ex-fiancee was probably the world's most spooked driver - until she got many hours of practice. you can use this advice or not, but my aunt was kind of scared before so she drove with my cousin (and he went fast!) and so she got over it.

You will get over the fear after you start driving more. My first car came after I got a job where I had to drive 25 miles each way. For the first month or two after I started driving on the highway I would just get behind the first car or truck that I found driving at a slow speed and I would just stay behind them until I got to my exit. After a while I just got used to driving on the highway. The same will happen for you. Good Luck
