Females passing their driving test?????????????????????...

Females passing their driving test?????????????????????...
|
Which is most likely out of the two situations
When the test was initially prepared for a person to pass the test, did they lower the standards so that females could pass as well
or
Are the testers allowed to take into account that if the are testing a female then he can make "allowances" for her
I find it quite strange that just as many females pass as do males, and yet most don't know how to drive properly.
What's your opinion??
All female responses will be ignored on the basis of I'm not interested in your opinion because it doesn't count anyway
Particularly when you say your insurance is lower than men. That's because on average men probably do many many more miles than a woman would do anyway, so longer on the road means more risk.
Oh amd also you drive small cars so they don't go very fast to help you control that wheely thing in front of you.
Thanks
Should be interesting reading!!!!

I think you will find women's insurance is cheaper because they have less and cause less accidents then men. Men driving is more dangerous then women's. Most men can't drive either, its all just a stereotype. I passed first time my brother didn't! I drive a small car because I can't afford a bigger one at the moment, how do you explain men driving small sports cars! Apart from them needing to make up for something else. Yes some women cant drive but there are as many equal men that can't either. |

Apparently you haven't been paying much attention to the other drivers around you. Men drive just as badly as women. Aggressive driving, speeding, no-signal lane changes, cell phone yacking with head up ***. You name it, men do it, just as much as the women. I'm a truck driver and I have been hundreds of thousands of miles. I have also seen female truck drivers who can drive well enough to embarrass the men. |

I think you just posted this to annoy women so I may report you...
Ignorant F*cker.
Just for your information I drive 44miles a day and my partner drives 4. I have the big car and he has the small one. I passed my driving test first time and although he did, 5 people I know didn't - all male! So there.
I agree that some female drivers are rubbish, but then so are men. Everything is equal. |

I find the question offensive as women are as good at driving as men. |

i have seen with my own eyes many times that a womens co-ordination when it comes to parking is abismal, but women generaly are a more cautious driver than a man. men do take more risks but that is down to aggression.
and women your insurance is lower because you do have less accidents than men theres no denying that.. but i cant help but thinking that the cause of most accidents is down to women who drive off unaware of the accident they have just caused by there own carelessness |

There really are no physical differences between men and women that need to be taken into account for driving. I have been doing driver's education and Traffic School in Arizona for 5 years, and I have more men than women in my class consistently. Women tend to have more accidents nationwide then men, but men die more. Overall, I think I would prefer to live...
And your assumptions are mostly incorrect - women drive just as well as men, and insurance is now pretty equal for both genders.
However, men tend to be more aggressive drivers and are more likely to drive while impaired than women, so I would have to say the women are doing a better job.
Sorry to bust your bubble... |

Females have lower insurance rates because it's very rare if ever, to see females doing donuts, drag racing on the streets or committing road rage like males are famous for.
Women aren't powered by testosterone and don't feel the need to drive huge vehicles to compensate for being phallically challenged or having emotional issues. Subconsciously, what they're doing is saying "don't look at me, look at my vehicle instead".
Women, unlike men, can actually talk on a cell phone and maintain their vehicle's speed. Why? Because only women can use both sides of their brain at once; whereas men can only use one side at a time. This is a fact - look it up...
Driving test standards aren't lowered for anyone, regardless of gender or physical disability. Either one passes the test or not.
I've seen as many, if not more, men than women do idiotic things behind the wheel. Before you condemn an entire gender for being terrible drivers, go to a good source who sees both - the police. Walk up to an officer and ask which gender they cite the most for unsafe driving habits. Try not to be too shocked when they tell you that it's males, not females.
BTW, the "wheely thing" you describe is called a steering wheel. I hope I was able to give you the correct name for the wheely thing you use for making your parent's car go around corners. |

I think that the types of bad driving exhibited by the different genders tend to be different, not more or less by either gender, just different.
Men are more regularly drive at excessive speed, are generally more likely to perform dangerous manoeuvres, generally more likely to be "aggressive drivers" tail gating and more likely to be caught drink driving. They also tend to have crashes at much higher speeds than women so the crashes are more likely to be fatal and cause serious damage.
Women are more likely to have low speed collisions something someone once explained to me as "kiss parking" when the car is revered until it hits something, more likely to hit at low speed stationary objects such as low bollards, it is possible to have many more of such accidents before killing yourself or being unable to find someone to insure you. They generally drive more cautiously / nervously which may cause accidents which will often not be considered their fault.
This is a very broad generalisation but borne out by accident statistics.
Who are better drivers depends what you mean, if its ability to limit carnage on the roads its women. If its technical co-ordination and spatial awareness and ability to handle a large machine even if the two little brains downstairs take control of the big one upstairs too often then its men. |

Some girls can drive but they are in a minority. They are a danger on the road and should have big orange lights on their cars to let us proper drivers know they are near. |
