omg im glad your ok even tho i dont know you lol but im glad your ok. My first accident wasnt that big what really scared me was how loud my grandmother screamed when we got hit. I got over it in like two days but everytime i pass the sceen i get flashbacks and get kinda scared but you'll get over it dont worry

Left turns in traffic can be one of the most dangerous manuevers you can make. Instead of doing that, consider three right turns to give you the same result. If you're a young driver (and even if you're experienced) keep in mind that the most dangerous thing you can do is get too close to the car in front of you. If you're being tailgated, pull over and let the stupid **** go by. If you rearend someone, it's your fault.

Don't listen to Anthony. Genuine traffic accidents are one of the rarest things out there. With almost no exceptions somebody is always at fault, and it sounds like this time that person was you. If Tony has been in six "accidents" I'm sure that he is at least partly if not mostly to blame for most of them, regardless of what he says. It is not true that everybody gets in a collision at some point; I've been driving for nearly a decade without an incident. Why? Because I never speed, I never drink and drive, I never get road rage, I always pay attention, and I always keep the bigger picture in perspective. Driver mentality is more important than driver skills or even driver experience.

Unfortunately there isn't enough in your explanation to determine fault. Regardless of who's at fault - life goes on. Like you said, luckily neither you, your friend or the driver of the Dodge truck were hurt.

Right now you're still experiencing the aftershock of it all still. Give it time - you'll get over it.

it only takes a split second of not paying attention. it's called an accident for a reason, everyone has them. I've been in 6 accidents and only one was my fault. most important thing was nobody was hurt, life goes on. you won't be able to just get it out of your head but it will go away don't worry about it. it's just a car. I'm new to this yahoo answers site but if you can check out my questions look at the one titles can we not catch a break. it will make you feel better
