Hello everyone,
My friend who's a new driver today wanted to turn left onto the left lanes on what he explained looked like a 4-way stop near a freeway. when he was at the stop lights he had gone after it turned green, however he noticed the Do Not Enter sign too late and accidentally made a left turn into the lane where the traffic was waiting to come pass after the light that's red would turn green on their side, lucky the light was still red at the soon-to-be oncoming traffic lanes and he had a enough time to back up and go onto the correct lanes at the right.
My question is will he have to pay a fee for this huge mistake? There was cameras there but he didn't pass any green lights, but gone way in the wrong lane were traffic would pass in the left. He lives in Lancaster TX, and made this mistake near the I-20 W freeway.

Unless he caused an accident then he should be good, the camera's are there to catch you run a light not make a wrong turn, so he should be good. |

the cameras don't usually do much so I doubt it
