Today i was driving to Chipotle and i was driving around the parking lot so i found a space and i tried to get into the parking space and i hit a car with minor scratches. I drove away because i was so scared and didn't know what to do. I was at home and a police officer knocked at my door and saying that if i hit the car. So i said yes and he told me to go to the police station and a police officer wrote 3 citations for a hit and run. I have to go to court and im scared.... What will happen to me i feel so stressed, depressed, sad help!

Also there was a citation wrote that people were chasing after me, but i had my little bro whos 14 and he said that ppl werent really chasing after us, but inspecting the vehicle. What should i do about that?

First offense, minor property damage hit and run - you are going to face some serious fines and have to pay for the repairs - it is much cheaper to face the music and pay for the repairs up front - there would have been no citations had you stayed and either located the owner to exchange insurance information or if you left detailed information on yourself and your insurance would have also been sufficient to avoid hit and run charges. Pay your dummy tax and learn from your mistake, above all else make certain that you are early for your court appearance if so required, to resolve this little mistake and take plenty of cash - like a couple of thousand dollars to pay the fines immediately. |

If your driving record is good you may not lose any points on your license or have to go to driving school. You will get a fine and maybe a stern lecture. Hope for the best. |
