depends on the state laws.
also can result in probation for the juvenile, juvenile detention,
or even jail time for the parent (again, depending on the state).

(Both) as well as removal from your home and placement in a state identified placement. Be mindful that juvenile sanctions are given in the hopes of rehibilitation and driving is a privalge that most teens hold dear. Note that the age is dependent upon the each state.
I have been a State Juvenile Probation Officer since 1989.

I assume you are preping for a test given that you've asked a number of questions here. But read the driver's handbook, the answers you are can be found in the booklet.

You are going to spend the rest of your life using and perfecting your driving skills, not reading the booklet is a poor way to start learning those skills.

It dosen't make any difference, habitual truancy results in you becoming a loser. If you're a loser why would you care if you had a license, you would just drive anyway until you got caught. And even then, you wouldn't care 'cause jail is nice and warm and there's food and tv (not like the dump you'd be living in), and when you got out - you drive again anyway.

My uncle was a habitual truant (I personally saw two cops drag him out of bed by his feet and take him to school in a
squad car). He's a total dumba55, complete loser with no job, lives in a crappy 35' trailer on some old geezer's property and pays his rent by riding a bike to the store to get them both beer. If it wasn't for his Social Security check ($396.00 a month, try living on that!) he'd have no money at all.

Um, are you using YA to do a homework quiz for driver's ed or something? Pay attention in class, and read the driver's handbook, the answers are all in there.

Why the truancy? Why the disinterest in school?
Fear? Lack of stimulation? Failure? Other root problems?
Truancy is normal, within limits, for a teen, but if the child is making a habit of it, then something is missing. Punishing isn't going to fix the problem, it will only solidify the child's position against school. Learning can happen many different ways.

Depends on what you do while you're not at school. If you're at the library or museums and art galleries, it may result in your getting a better education than you would have got had you been in class.

Just my opinion.
