No way, it totally depends on you, I wouldn't drink ONE pint nevermind two as I know that my judgement is affected just by that!
The limit hasn't been lowered it is still 35 µg per 100ml of breath, and 80 mg per 100ml of blood - not 1 litre as mentioned above :)
In 1998 Labour were trying to get the limit lowered to 50 mg per 100ml of blood, but two years later they said this wouldn't happen......for now.
Be careful if you use the two pint rule, because some beers are a lot stronger than others, and some people's bodies deal with alcohol in different ways - best bet, get a taxi! |

Remains the same in the UK but I hope it will be reduced in the very near future. |

If you want to go out for a drink then leave your car at home.
Alcohol and cars don`t mix.You might think that you will only
have a couple of beers and before you know it you have had
way too many. |

not true it depends on so many factors i.e.weight of person ,food in stomach and what type of food, time scale over drink taken etc etc be safe....one small glass wine or 1/2 pt beer..Limit to be lowered shortly to 3/4 of what it is now.....check Google facts. |

Here it's been dropped to .008 from .010 so yes, for many people that means 2 drinks will but you over the limit. |

The test estimates alcohol concentration (in your blood), not total amount. If you are big, you can drink more; if you are small, you can drink less. To compute the exact amount that you can drink, you would need to know the amount of blood in you, but that is too hard to measure, so the most common practice is to estimate based on body weight.
In the U.S., the limit for "driving while intoxicated" was lowered from 0.10% to 0.08% several years ago. Also, exceeding the value 0.04% is "driving while ability impaired" (the exact names may vary from state to state), which is also illegal, but less serious. |

Nope............its no longer the case.......drinking many medicines will set of the breathalyzer and you "will" go to jail and explain this. |

I think the new law enforced allows only 1 unit of alcohol to be consumed before you are over the limit.
Personally i would not bother drinking any alcohol if you are going to drive it just isnt worth it. :) |
