Have ever noticed how many drivers take their eyes off the road while actually driving?

Or talk on their cell phone too very dangerous some people cannot leave that cell phone alone.

I like to read a really good book when I'm driving.....it keeps the interest up and so many people give me a friendly wave recommending I read page 2 again.....I think!

I wonder how those that notice and record that stuff claim to be paying attention. They do have a very high collision rate so they can watch me all they want.

i have seen two crashs today 2 mile from each other 1 was a bmw gone into the back of a lorry and a transit van on it side smashed up.

Jeepers on the M1 I have seen several motorists reading unbelievable.

I have gotten rear ended several times. Once by a lady applying her make up, and one by a tailgaiting kid

seen a complete muppet driving a very large van texting on his mobile this morning

Oh my god its so scary how many people do it. Someone I know had a map on the steering wheel reading it whilst trying to drive ( I was in the car behind thank god) I also someone wriring whilst driving. The worst is when mothers do it when they have there kids in the car. I have seen so many of them talking on mobiles whilst driving.

Their eyes shouldn't be on the road, they should be on YOU, since you are the self-appointed eye-police. You should be looking at more than just the rear view mirror and the road. You should have been trained to look at other cars, other drivers, and the sides - for instance places OFF the road where children might be playing. It might appear to some readers that your extreme limitation of eye movement may be just as dangerous as what you consider someone else's distraction. When you have developed the exact balance of staring at the road and looking away, you should take a stab at rewriting the driving manuals to include your wisdom. If shared with everyone, your insight may one day make the roads safer for all of us! Thanks for your vigilance!
