Ever run out of gas and been ignored by a traffic cop?

EVERY single time!!! I've had to rely on passing motorists for help!
Only one time did a cop stop to help me and that time it turned out someone had sabotaged my truck. He most likely saved my life! Oh, the reason he stopped was because he was looking for a car that did damage to a church and wanted to know if I had seen it. He stayed to help though and just as he got me safe, the car went by and he got it as well!!! |

He's not there to buy a can of gas and pour it into your car. He is there to enforce the law.
If he had used his car to push you, you probably would have complained that he did some damage to your car.. |

No I have never ever run out of gas in my car, it's to damn cold where I live. Besides cops give me the willie's to begin with he could ignore me forever for all I care. Have a good day. :0)

No but that is so wrong of them to not stop and assist someone. After all it is their job to serve and protect. If you live in the State of Texas there is a number on the back of your drivers license that you can call if you need motor assistance. |

no, but i remember once my mom and grandmother broke down at a red light, and not one but two cops went around us, without stopping. and cell phones weren't on the market yet, so we had to sit and wait for a good samaritan. |
