yes four times. But if you weren't going very fast you'll be fine. You can contest the ticket. Maybe the bloke was just testing it? |

Yeah I was doing over the speed limit not by much but the camera was on the other side of the road. I never got a ticket or letter or anything. Things when your a new driver do worry you but I assum that if you were doing no more than the speed limit the you will be absolutely fine and nothing to worry about. These speed cameras I think are a waste of tax payers money to get them there and then it don't bloody stop if you get fined aswell. Shame they couldn't fine the more guilty people!!! |

Come to Ireland and swop your UK licence for an Irish one, then you can drive through the cameras with impunity at any speed you like. |

Yes but never heard anything.. A lot of the older cameras use film which runs out, and is too expensive to replace. So the flash only acts as a deterrent,,, Newer cameras have discs or hard drives, so a flash means a warning at least. |

If you were under the limit, don't panic.Speed camera's allow for the speed limit plus 15%.So you can do 35 in a 30,with no worries. Also camera's do random flashes,I think it's a diagnosis thing.
Don't worry.Honest. |

I did get "flashed" shortly after they installed photo radar in our city. There was an article in the paper describing the legalaties and how to get out of the ticket. I followed the instructions from the paper, claimed my car was being serviced that day and it wasn't me driving the vehicle. I never heard back from the police dept.
By the way, are you sure it was a "speed" camera? Could it be for running a red light? I have read about people complaining they were photographed incorrectly for 1 infraction, when in fact it was for a different infraction entirely. Speeding vs. running a stop light, for example. |

Yeah I got flashed by a guy under a camera with a fluorescent green jacket on, the camera flashed and he was signalling as if to say 'slow down'. I worried about it for ages but wondered whether they might have been doing some kind of traffic survey or something as I never got a ticket |

Yeah, but I never got a ticket though, probably because I made it across the intersection before the light turned red. If it isn't your fault, they will usually just disregard it. |
