25th April 2005, sitting on my motorbike, Suzuki 1200 Bandit, indicating to turn right, traffic past on my right and I was aware of a car on my right, indicating to turn right out of the junction I was entering. The cars passed and I checked my right and started to manoeuvre and BANG, the car has proceeded to drive into my right hand side, I broke my right femur and was pushed by the car until the tyres on my bike gripped where then I was flipped over the bike and onto the road where I landed in a sitting position and I broke me back, thoracic 5+6, hospitalised 4 months.
Back to work now but was definitely a difficult slog!!

I was hit by a car going about 20 mph. I was wearing my seat belt and it held me fast as I was hit and slammed into the car in front of me, who in turn hit the car in front of her. The car was smaller than my van, but she bucked by back door so badly that part of her headlight ended up in the back of my van.

She was not wearing a seat belt and bashed her face into the steering wheel. The woman I hit was wearing her seat belt and it ended up saving her babies life as she was pregant at the time. I was lucky, being the bigest vehicle and being seat belted I was not hurt at all just a little sore.

biggest one was 5 years back... snowy day.. car skidded... badly... hit the curb... stopped... car behind came full speed and WACK... RIP to the car.

yeah, i was going to get up and walk away but the driver came out and insisted i wait for ambulance although i didn't feel to bad and there was a copper that was around who wanted to take details. If you are going to get run over, its better to get run over with helpful people around!

A Transit van came straight through a red light and hit me...He drove off and nobody got his number..
Happily I was not hurt merely shaken, and slightly bruised..

Yes, i was in my ex car (a 1998 suzuki vitara) stoped by a traficlight and suddendly a car that was going quite fast hit me in the rear bumper, in that moment i stop beliving in airbags, because the thing that really saved me was the seatbelt.

I didn't get hit by a car.One reversed over my foot as i was just stepping on to the pavement.No serious injury though it was very very sore!

Yes when I was 4 years old, broke my blooming leg it did, I was on traction for 8 week. The nurses on the childrens ward are scared of me now.

Yes, when I was 11 years old, I got hit by a Rolls Royce, in Cheltenham ! It was my fault, I ran out, but if you're going to get hit by a car, get hit by the best!!

Yes it got up and punched me in the eye, so I punched it back.
Broke a headlight though, had to pay for that.

Yes, but I was very drunk at the time and don't remember it. I was in a coma for a few days and they thought I wouldn't make it but I'm fine thankfully. I felt bad for the poor driver, it was entirely my fault and he was blaming himself all the time it was touch and go.

No but I have come very close... I was walking to work and crossed a road that I cross everday, further down the road was a roundabout and a white van that was just coming off. I knew that I had more than enough time to cross because of how far away he was but the driver sped up. I ended up running out the way as the van went past doing about 45 in a 30 it must have missed me by inches
