I have heard that black is a difficult colour to see. Also a black car will be hotter inside since it absorbs heat more readily than other colours. According to the RACQ (an Australian motoring organisation) white cars are the easiest to see, the coolest in hot weather and the cheapest to get repainted in case of a minor accident. Not sure if this is true for India as well as Australia. Good luck. |

The most visible colour in all road/weather conditions is generally considered to be yellow.
Colour is not the main contributing factor in most situations however; good positioning, speed, distance, weather, lighting, road conditions and vehicle dynamics awareness, etc, all contribute to the safety of your progress.... |

It has been my personal experience that animals do not see the car moving through shadows and, also, black just makes people aggressive -- they want to race you from a stoplight, pass you very close on the highway. But, black sure is a cool color for a car if you can keep it clean.
According to a leading consumer magazine, gray or silver is the most dangerous color because it blends with the roadway. On a hot day, in bright sunlight, you just don't see a gray car as well as the other colors. |

For years I drove a beige vehicle. When I got my new car (all black) I noticed right away that there is a difference. Dark gray and black vehicles are just plain harder to see on a dark gray or black road surface. Unsafe? No, I wouldn't go that far. But I do turn on my headlights pretty early. |

Brake lights are more easily seen on black/dark cars. Red cars have been cited for more accidents. |

Thank you for repeating your exact question in the detail section. Black is dangerous. The most dangerous is a black car with alternating stripes like the ones that separate lanes, and a speed limit sign painted on the passenger side so people drive over you. |

seems like i read somewhere that the safest color car is Grey,or Silver, and the color with the most accidents and/or speeding violations is Red - Black and White are neutral colors and probably the most common on the road...and too - its not the color of the car you drive - its how you drive your color car....right |
