Where I'm from one an hour is allowable...and even then some people are impaired.....taking drugs or medication will also increase your problem |

0!!! Unless you have a Breathalyzer test on hand ... no one can ever determine how much is too much! thats why its better to be safe than sorry! ... please never drink and drive ... i know you hear this all day but you will not realize how important this is until someone you love dies because of a drunk driver!
My best friend was 20 years old when he was killed by a drunk off-duty police officer. Its really not worth it.
RIP MARVIN! |

Awhile ago I heard an educational speaker about this, & if I remember right he said 1 beer per hour.
If I were you, I definantly would not drink more than 1/hr. You don't want to risk having imparred vision & an unclear mind that puts an innocent person & yourself in danger. Not only could you take people's live's (including killing a child, or taking that child's parents away from him/her), but you could end up in jail for involentary manslaughter &/or lose your license, plus pay a big fine. Being drunk for one night is not worth all of that. |

Hello
In theory - drinking any amount of alcohol can cause drowsiness or other related symptons that would cause an accident.
My answer but it is not the answer you are looking for is give up drinking beer mate. It will save you lots of money and you will drive safely.
Good luck |

you can have at lest 1-2 depending on what beer you are going to be driking |

I cant give you an exact answer, pretty sure that it varies not only with height and weight but also with the amount you generally drink. I'm 5'10", 180 lbs and I can't do anymore than 1-1.5 drinks per hour and still feel like I can drive safely. Although I've never done a breathalizer test to see if what I consider "Safely" and the Government considers "Safely" alligns. |

It is probably one beer an hour and about 3 maybe 4 beers over that four hour period, or for the whole night. 8 is not safe even if you feel fine. I weigh 175 and 8 beers would knock me on my a**. Even if you feel fine on 8 beers, your blood alcohol level would be well above the .8% limit in most states. If you want to find out your exact amount see if there is some where you can take an actual breathalyser. |

None. There is a no tollerenace for alochol on the roads now a days. It use to be .08%, but now there is zero. It also depends where you live and the bylaws. I am in Canada , so these are our rules. Hope it helps. |

be safe and dont drink at all because beer does many nasty thigns to your body even if you dont drink that much but the standard is a drink an hour. No more than two total if you will be driving. |

Actually one beer impairs you to an extent. Also depends on how much you eat. You are deceiving yourself if you think 8 is safe. |

No way! 8 is not safe! I don't know who told you that. I would say 4 at the most! A real safe number would be 0, why take a chance. If you want to drink, let a person who has not been drinking take you home or take a cab. It is not worth taking the risk. |

Really you can not have any because a small amount can either make you want more or it can even get you drunk. Depending on how your body works. |

You should never even touch alcohol before you drive. |
