Just a shot in the dark - but you could try The British Film Institute - or even somewhere like The Science Museum libraries. |

In addition to the mentioned sources, you could try to download them using torrent. One way to involve the younger element would be to get them to download films and run a competition for the best / worst / funniest. This will get them involved and talking about it. I've found some safety films with a quick search - "old" ones may need more work

If you search youTube for "saving video" you will find instructions on how to save youTube video to your hard drive - which would be useful to you I think.

Contact your local or state police department they should be able to point you in the right direction. |

I think you best bet would be to approach a couple of local councils, they would know where to find these ot may have some in the archives.Possibly ask the fire brigade. Ironically a lot of old films are a fire hazzard. |
