How can i track down a person who hit my car when all I have is her name, number and driver's license?

I was rear ended in a parking lot in Los Angeles and since it was just minor damage to my car i agreed on amicable settlement. I told her i'd get back to her as soon as i get the estimate. we exchanged info. I have her number and driver's license only. When I called her a few weeks later I got the voicemail. I've been getting her voicemail since and it's been months since. I've been leaving her messages but obviously she decides not to keep in touch. I want to get further information on the person so I can at least get what is due me. At least a home address so I can send a letter of notice or something..The damage would cost me at least 350$.

Small claims court? Do you have *any* proof that she hit you and agreed to pay? Or will she be able to get judgement on you for harassing her (her proof are the voicemails you kept leaving.) |

since you didn't file a police report, your only recourse is to keep trying to reach her, or contact an attorney. |

Did you tell your insurance company about the accident? Tell them you are unsuccessful at contacting her and they might help you track her down. Or you can Google her phone number and that'll show her name and address. Since you have her number, that's a way to track down the address the number is located at. If she doesn't respond to your letter of notice that you will sue her and include a copy of the bill of your damages, then file a small claims suit. |

you best bet would be to contact a bailbond office in your area they most always do pi work and background checks and most often cheaper than a regular pi or attorney just look yellow pages for bail bonds normaly they can check it in a matter of minutes hope this helps |
