ok dude i dont know how to shave a poin off but ill tell u how 2 avoid getting a ticket...follow along

1. When you pay the ticket Make sure you use a check
2. Write the check for one dollar over the price on the tickt (so if you have to pay $35.00 you would wrgite them a check for $36.00)
3. send them the check
4.In about 2 weeks they will send you a check for that extra dollar you sent them
5. Dont cash the check( they cant issue any points on your license until all financial transactions are handled)

You can go to traffic school after you paid your ticket if ou haven't attended in the previous 18 months (12 months in some counties).

That is the only way. That, or time (a point disappears after 3 years).

The California DMV maintains a record of all the points added to your driving license. However, there are a number of ways in which you can remove points from your current driving record.

If you remain violation or suspension-free, you can get points deducted from your current driving record.

Points get negated after a certain time period as shown below.

One points, and most two point violations, are negated after a three-year period.

However, if you fail to appear in court, they remain in your record for five years.

Failure to appear in court for a DUI will remain in court for ten years.

Taking a Defensive Driving Course enables you to deduct points from your current driving record, and may also qualify you for a reduction in your car insurance rates.
