How come so many people who own 4x4's or other expensive cars cannot afford hands free mobile phones?

I would suggest that the reason that a lot of these people use their mobiles whilst driving is the same as the reason they drive big cars. They think they are something they are not because of their income and are above the law and the sooner they all get caught for using the phone whilst driving the better for all of us.

They can, they are just arrogant lazy gits who should be taxed heavily for driving their 4x4s.

They don't use them even when they have them. I HATE people who use their cell phone while driving. They might as well be putting on makeup or shaving their face.

cos they spent all there money on petrol...filling the tanks up !
oh and they think they don't have to comply with the law obviously(because they spent more on there car than you)you would be amazed what money can buy these days lol

I think they can afford them I just think that they want to look important to others on the road so they have the cell phone stuck to their ear. I really don't think that they are talking on it half the time.

That is an excellent question, the answer is they can they just think they are above it, and the law doesn't apply to them, no matter what the consequences are to other road users and pedestrians.

I feel much better after getting that off my chest, i'll go back to being light hearted again now!

Hands free mobile phones ... next thing you'll be telling me is that i shouldn't drink beer while I'm driving ... how is a man supposed to enjoy his road soda if he can't get drink it on the road .. you city folk kill me.

Because they are so in debt paying off their big loans to look flash (they think, reality is they look twits) they can't afford the few pounds for the hands free kit!

Seems like too much trouble to actually use the hands free device. Its so much easier just to knock someone down!

Maybe they can afford them they just rather by what they like instead of a phone, or maybe they have a mobile phone and just dont wanna give you the number.
