How do I calm my nerves for driving test?

My test's on Friday and I'm nervous already. I feel sick constantly, my heart beats VERY fast and I get the shakes... all these obvious impact on my driving and I don't want to do something stupid just 'cos I'm nervous.
Any tips on how to calm my nerves?

The question is - how do you feel driving a car with a total stranger sitting next to you telling you what to do? The examiner will not tell you to do anything illegal. You don't know what to expect. NP. Find out. I highly recommend that you go to the DMV and follow a road test in progress and see where it goes and what maneuvers are performed, even if it means taking an hour off from school. This is called studying.

First think "What's the worst that can happen?" You fail and have to do it again. Not the end of the world. Also know that a little nervousness is a good thing when tasting. Your concentration level is higher when you are nervous than if you were completely relaxed. So you are doing the right thing by being nervous. You should be. |

I've answered this ques b4 by saying to breathe deep . I'm amending that to if you have a relative with an oxygen tabk to borrow it for the day, NOT during the test but b4. Remember that it"s not the officers job to fail you. |

It's nothing to worry about, what's the worst that can happen? Usually when I worry too much about something, it never happens, then you think to yourself, ''I've spent all that time worrying and I haven't had any fun!'' Just go with the flow, it's nothing to worry about! Just try your best, a lot of other people have done driving tests.. Just study for a while and maybe revise with a friend or relative that has passed their driving test. |
