i been calling around trying to find out how i can get the handgun permit my sister told me my local police department does it but i dont know who to ask for. anyone from lima ohio know?

you will have to take a class. call your local court clurk to find out whin and where the next one is.after that you have to go to the court clurk to apply if you have no recerd you should get it in about

Not just ANYONE can get one. You have to be able to convince the powers that be you have a REAL need for one, and you must have a clean record to begin with.
An example would be a diamond dealer who carries around hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of gems, armored car guards and so on.
If you are simply a working person with a regular job, forget it. |

court house should be able to help you out. you can just get one becuase it makes you feel safer when you are driving. you can get one if you drive far for work and you have to have a clean record. my dad had one when he was driving 120miles a day for work( 60miles one way). he never used it |
