How do i keep the shield on my helmet from fogging up?

will coating it with dish soap help?is there a good anti-fog spray out?does it work?

this is for truck racing,i'm kind of a big guy so i will be sweating alot and breathing heavily so i need something that really works

rain-x anti fog works well for me, I use regular rain-x on the outside, makes the water bead off nicely and the anti-fog on the inside

Years ago we used to have a potato and cut it in half. The gently wipe the cut surface across the inside of our car windscreens to stop fogging. No joke, it actually worked! Bit of a pain though when you were out in the country with the girl friend as the windows still wouldn't fog up.

Is any one else old enough to remember using this method?

P.S what sort of truck racing? Used to help out at big rig racing here in the UK at one stage when it first started over here.

You can actualy go to a lot of auto parts dealers or sports centers and buy anti fogging wipes for the shield on your helmet. They do not cost much and if you can keep them sealed away from air, they last quite a long time. Hope this helps.
