5 large vans, 2 on th drive yes, so im assuming thats all they can fit on there, meaning that if they are parking 3 across the fron of the house this would be a hazard should you want to reverse onto your drive, in a way that you wouldnt be able to see whats coming, and you could have an accident.
By law there is nothing you can do, but if they have 5 vans im assuming they have a business, where are there premises? can they not park them there? ask the questions, explain this is dangerous and is causing problems for you, im sure they will understand x |

If they are not interfering with your parking or stopping you from gaining access to your property i would leave well alone. If they are running a business from the house and the ground or chief rent conditions state they cannot, then you can stop them, they are also causing obstruction under the local byelaws. You are poking a rats nest with this one my friend. |

nothing because its not your property
and "make their lives hard " is a stupid pointless thing to attempt to do.
they have to live with u so u have to live with them
conclusion : move house |

Are they taxed and insured - if so - nothing you can do about it except park in the spaces they park in to stop them - but that will just push the problem somewhere else |

do not report them stolen...duh, that would get you in trouble, and if you think that is clever just think what they will do to get back at you.
it seems like your just going to have to deal with it. i live near a park with base ball field and all spring and summer the players take over my street...my only option os to move |

Ask nicely for them to be moved and they will probably tell you that they are all MOTd taxed and insured and have every right to be there. That being the case, why is it such a problem for you? |

Is your life so empty that all you have to do is make trouble for your neighbors? What's the point? As long as it is a public road and there are no parking restrictions in place, there is nothing you can do. |

Leave the poor guy alone. If you give him a hard time over this, than don't ever expect to have a party or have friends over, as your neighbor will be guaranteed to "be crafty and annoy" you. Who knows, someday you might want another car, and then your punk @#* neighbor will think you have too many cars and give you crap about it.
jeez, some of these other posters are insane.
Do not burn them.
Do not report him for a crime He's NOT committing.
Don't waste anymore time on this.
Do get a job.
Do buy 5 vans and join in on the fun. |

you cant do anything unles they cause a hazard. (then phone plod)
if you do anything bar have a word, youll get nicked... they pay tax, the insure their vehicles, and they have as much right as the next person to park their cars or vans on the street.
the law protects everyone... |

Are they in your way or something? If they are parked in front of their house then it is ok. If they are parking them in front of their neighbors houses on the curb then the neighbor could ask them to be moved, otherwise you cant do anything. If your having a party or event and need to park cars in the road ask them to move them for just a few hours so you both arent taking up the whole road. |

I had a similar problem with my neighbors with six car to their house. Call the police and tell them some of the cars have no valid city/village sticker. I have two cars and a small pick up and can't park my truck on the street because it has a "B" plate. If I can't park my truck on my street why can they get away with not having village stickers? Some vehicles can't park on the street because the block the view of the corners and driveways, check into that. |

Nothing you can do as long as they are taxed, mot'd and insured.
If you are in london and they are big blue old transits I have seen them. |

As it's a residential area and if these are "work's vehicles" check with the council as to whether they need a permit to park there. They'll soon shift them if they have to pay to park there! |

You could just ask them. Explain why it bothers you, or causes you a problem and if you do it politely they may stop. |

Why does this guy have 5 vans? Anything illegal going on? If so, tip off the cops.
If they are for his business, and you are in a residential neighborhood, look into zoning laws. Most towns don't allow commercial vehicles to be routinely parked in residential areas. If there's nothing on the books already, maybe you can push for it.
Also check for any parking regs that prohibit overnight parking, or continuous parking, etc.

I used to have a similar problem at one of my previous houses. I got my mates to come over as much as possible and park their cars in the place of the other vehicles that caused a problem. It worked!! |

if it is a public street there isn't much you can do. I assume they are all licensed and insured< |

Do you not have parking bylaws ? |

The law states (surprisingly enough), that a vehicle parked on the highway is an obstruction. Every road user has the right to pass and repass over the highway. Where a vehicle is parked, another vehicle cannot pass over that part of he highway, therefore an obstruction is caused. This is an offence except where yellow lines are painted when an offence under the local by-laws is committed. Secondly, where local authority housing is concerned, a condition of tenancy will certainly be that no business is carried on from those premises. So you may report to the local Police the obstruction, or, the local authority if the premises are being used for carrying out a business. My advice would be to go for the former. |

If you live in the UK and your neighbour is running a transport business for his home speak to the local council they may be able to help, also many houses in the UK have covenants in the deeds forbidding the running of a business from the property or even sometimes parking vans or caravans on the property. |

I'm waiting for the statement where you say the street belongs to you... rather than the intentions of a Criminal Mind!
Why are these vans of so much interest to you. Does your neighbour not have the right to pursue a living? Are these vans in whole or in part used for that purpose? If these vans are not in violation of any laws in your community, your city or state, then it is not your neighbour with the problem, it is something in your nature, which does not observe the Live and let Live aspect of Human Nature.
If he was parking these vans in your driveway, one would have some case for being disgruntled, but that is not the case, the streets a for public thoroughfare; here is the only way one can find objection to the vans being parked in the street. Do they obstruct traffic as it passes up or down the street. If none of these things; one must for Peace sake, leave well enough alone.
Your question seeks evil intent, which may cost you more than you are willing to pay. Be "Kind;" before seeking criminal intention through the Internet, speak with your neighbour. There maybe some resolution the two of you can reach Peacefully and without conflict. Communication is the key to Understanding. |

Well, if by law they have a right to park on the street than I'm sorry but there is nothing you can do to stop them. If they are not supposed to be parking where they are parking than you can call the police and inform them. |

check with your local council to see if there legallyy able to park that many vehicles on the street. next you might try talking to other people that live close to see if it bothers them . if enough people complain to city council thay will do somthing |

Park there yourself, or ask them not to. Otherwise, there is nothing legal you can do from a passive aggressive standpoint. |

Borrow a forktruck and move them or report them to the Police saying you cannot access your drive easily. The council could be interested as well as might be a by-law against large vans alongside houses. |

Try these:
1- Spread bird seeds all over the vans. Wait until birds appear and begin to eat-poop-eat... a wonderful souvenir will be there for your adorable neighbors.
2- Mark a "for sale" signs on the windows, put "1 dollar or best offer" on them.
3- Spread dog-poo aside driver´s door on each van.
4- Write obscene letters and stick them on van´s windshields. |
