I just noticed, ive never seen a deer cross the road except at the yellow sign that warns you that deer cross there... coincidence or what?

Well, studies are done for natural crossings for deer, and then a sign is posted in that area to warn motorists, so it would make sense that you would see a deer at one of those signs, right? |

They place the signs where Deer tend to cross, not the other way around. That is the serious answer.
The smartazz answer would be: Since Deer can read, why don't they know when hunting season starts? |

the government sends people to look for places where deer cross a lot and could be a threat to the community/freeway
so they put up big yellow signs to tell people to be more careful in that area because of the so many deer crossing the free way |

Most states use corn in the areas where the most expensive cars are found. No need in getting deer to hit those cars that will just end up in the junk yard. |

Wait until the deer crosses, honk, approach then to see if they'll run, or risk injury or life trying to get out of the car and maybe push it |
