How do you feel about teen accidents?

i'm doing an essay for school (about teen car crashes.) and i need to know other people's views and opinions about them (and dont just say they're sad or something like that.) give me something real! do some research.

i'd really appreciate it..

i've done research! but i also have to use other peoples opinions! and you have no clue what is going on in my life, so i wasnt able to ask anyone else! okay?!

Since you asked for opinions, here's one:
An accident is an accident. People (of any age) shouldn't be punished for accidents. They should be punished for behavior whether it causes an accident or not.

I have a teen driver in my family. Tomorrow I break the news to her that her driving time will be restricted for a couple weeks, because I observed her speeding and a couple other things. Bad idea to wait for an accident (or a traffic ticket) to take action.

I was rear-ended by a teen last month. I know she wasn't paying attention, cause she wasn't tailgating -- had enough time to stop, just didn't manage it in time. Bit of a hassle, but it worked out ok with insurance and all -- no sense getting all uptight about it.

Teens are always more likely to get in accidents since their not really experienced drivers. Also they drive more carelessly. And don't tell us do some research its YOUR essay, not ours.

Its ok when my puppy or my kitten "have an accident" on my floor, but I think a teen should know better
