The most common way of making tires squeal is when you let the tires reach their limits of traction(turn the car as late as possible). Some tires squeal right when they are about to "Saturate" where others squeal long before they even get close to Saturating (Saturating is the point where the tire can no longer make enough traction to hold the weight that is applied to them, so they begin to slid). Some tires are silent until they are totally saturated.

Squealing on corners either means you have bad tires or you're sliding. Front wheel drive cars won't slide easy, but if it's a big rear wheel drive car, you can either:

On a turn such as turning out of a driveway, you just come to a stop, cut the wheel and gas it. Works great with RWD.

On a road with small corners, you drift. Drifting is hard to learn, but you go a good speed going towards the corner, let off the gas, turn, and hit the gas again. Over steering will cause you to run off the road and look stupid.

Why do you want to know? Trying to get your tires to squeal is not looked happily upon by The Police or Sheriff's as it is an indicator of a reckless driver and they will most likely/certainly stop you and ticket you for Reckless driving $$.

But don't listen to me go and ahead and take that corner as the others have said at high speed and see what happens. If you are lucky your tires might make a little noise and not have a run in with Police or Sheriff and won't lose money this way $. BUT If your NOT LUCKY you hit the curb and wreck your car and damage your suspension system $300.-$1,200.00 later and a broken ego or worse another car and more money $$ lost over a STUPID thing as squealing the tires.

Go to the race track were they allow you to drive like a fool and you won't hurt anyone or damage your car.

Its normal, your cam & caster in the front end changes as you turn sharp, i wouldn't worry about it unless your tires start waring funny.

Just turn very sharp, while going very fast.

do not over inflate your tires.... if your car is a front wheel drive you will have a hard time getting them to squeal because you are also using them to turn the car.. if it is a rear will drive car then it should not be that hard.... better yet just save the rubber

try over inflating them 35-40 psi
