well , im 18 and got my license before a month ...
first lesson i was so damn scarred and though that i will never be able to drive a real car in a real street >_> ..
after 30 lessons and 3 driving tests i finally passed !!!
why i failed the first 2 tests ??
...because i was terrified and kept the idea of fail in my mind which made me not focus in the driving itself ...
get your hands on the steering wheel , set your chair the way you feel like it .. turn on the radio and have fun !!
now i enjoy driving sooo much !
sometimes i take my car out for nothing .. but to enjoy the driving thing ! =D
its so damn fun once you get used to it ..
the key word is ... RELAX FOR GOD SAKE ITS JUST A DAMN CAR !!!

If you're keen then no problem.
As with all aspects of learning, an interest first and a love work in combination with making the whole learning experience enjoyable and the aim attainable!
Go for it and focus with the above in mind :) |

Start in a mall parking lot. It's not that tough. |

I suppose it depends on where you are, and what kind of car you drive.
I took 6 hours of lessons (minimum required legally) and that's all the lessons I ever took.
Driving an auto is tremendously easy, while driving a manual takes a bit more technical skill. |

it is not hard at all, common sense, you just have to be aware and watch all the other drivers. |

i think everyone feels like u about driving but once u start driving and u pass that test u will feel a weight lifted off ur shoulder the test is not hard at all and if u have a friend with a really small car ask them if u can barrow it for the test because it will make everything smoother |

It all depends on your appitude. I only had 8 lessons and passed first time but I was told by my instructor that I had a natural ability and everything just fell into place. Guess I was just lucky. I had watched my dad and brother drive and would "pretend" to drive in my bedroom with boxes to act as the pedals. |

not hard but you need to relax |

driving is not hard, but is probably the most dangerous thing that most people do on a regular basis. Skip the friend and take lessons from a pro. |

Well, I learned when I was 14, most do around 15. So it really can't be that hard.
You have to relax.
If you go into it thinking you will fail, you will. |

No...
Practice with someone on a daily basis. It could be a friend, or a relative. Make sure that they have excellent driving knowledge, and that they have the patience to be sitting beside you, while you learn.
Always drive at least a car length behind the car in front of you. If you have to make a fast stop, you do not want to crash into the front car. When going fast, you will need even more than one car length in order to come safely to a stop, so understand and observe the two-second rule. Take weather and road conditions into account.
Know your vehicle; how long it takes to stop, the responsiveness of the steering wheel, etc.
Use caution when driving. Do not speed, nor drive too slowly.
Never drink and drive.
Never drive if you are very tired. |
