How long is license revoked if it is a first time offense and person dies in accident (non-DUI)? ?

If a person crashes car on freeway speeding and survives but the passenger dies and the driver has no previous criminal record is the revocation still forever or 30 days since it is a first time offense and no priors? Can he still get his license reinstated if he had a perfect record before then with no tickets or violations or anything?

I know some one that happen to with no priors and he lost his license for 3 years after he got out of jail in 15 years. Man slaughter.

Depends on state law and the court. You'd have to ask the DMV or an attorney who specializes in such cases.
