How many lenses do I need in my glasses to drive legally?

My license says "RSTR: CORR LENS". Does this mean that I need one lense for each eye or that I must use at least one lense (total)? For example, if one lense fell out of my glasses, could I drive with only the remaining lense until I replaced the missing lense?

you need both it's for your safty as well as every one elses and if you get pulled over it depends on the officer if you'll get a ticket but you honestly leaving your self wide open for a problem and god forbid you get inot and accident you will not be covered by your insurance co.

you need everything your optometrist say,s you need....you can receive a citation for driving without corrected lenses...that,s why you have that restriction on your license....driving like that can cause depth perception problem,s...could cause a accident...then your in real trouble....but if it is an emergency & you drive very carefully then I think any officer would understand & you will probably get off with a warning...get it corrected as soon as possible....good luck!

You must have at least 20/40 corrected vision in both eyes. The only exception is if you have a medical examiners waiver. Such as with people that are blind in one eye.

Nope....you would need the complete set of glasses to drive safety and not be ticketed......
