How to clear inside fog while raining in a car?

If you have an A/C button you will need to turn it on while the other switches are in the defrost position. This will remove the moisture from the air inside your vehicle. The air that comes out of the vents when this has been done has passed through the dehydrator and is therefore dryer than the air in your vehicle. This should take care of your issue. If it does not then you may need to have your a/c system checked and your dehydrator replaced.

If you do not have a separate A/C button your defrost position should take care of the issue as well. If not see above for resolution.

Check to see that the "fresh air/recirculating" switch/lever/button is on Fresh!!! If not, you have trapped all the humidity inside the car and there is no way for it to escape.

The A/C turned on will help draw the humidity out of the air as well... but it can't do it all. I live in the Great Northwest and I understand all too well what you are talking about. Drive with the fresh air switch open so outside air circulates through the car, otherwise, you get the fog....

You need heat, not A/C. Turn it on full heat and the "defrost" setting, and that should do the trick.

Heat will do it. It may be uncomfortable, but use the heated defrost and they will clear up.

EITHER THE HEATER OR THE A/C WILL ALWAYS WORK AND IF NOT MAYBE YOU HAVE A LEAKING HEATER CORE.

use a anit fog for the windows. try running the defrost with the a/c on. also something you might want to check into. have a pro look at your windows. check and see if you have a gap between the glass and frame. Cheers mate!!!!

You may have moisture build-up in your defrost ducts, and when the heat hits it, it just causes build-up on the windshield. Is this a fairly old car, or a fairly new one? A/C will work to clear it sometimes, but then when you get cold, and cut the heat back on, bam, the moisture comes back. You probably need to drain the ducts somehow, and get them dry again. Or they could have moisture-holding material, like old leaves, that holds the moisture in. Either way, it's a pain to deal with. Good luck,
