More Information required?
If it is in there but you didn't have it insured you will need to take someone with you that has insurance that covers them for your car.
Apart from that take the ticket and enough money to pay the fine and towing and storage fees. Go by taxi or bus or get another friend to drop you there.

It all depends on why they impounded the car. if it was because you got arrested for a D.U.I. or no D.L. or no insurance or no tags.. than you just have to go to where ever the car was towed with a valid driver proof of insurance and good tags. you may have to go to the police station and talk to them so they can tell the shop that they can release the car to you. If it was for drugs then they may not let you have the car back until after your trial if they even do let you have it back. You will also have to pay the tow bill and storage fees for however long your car is there they can get pretty expensive. so get the car out as soon as you can because every day it sits there it costs you more to get it out. here they charge about $60 a day for storage and the tow bill is about $50 per hook up and $3 a mile. |
