How to stop a bike at high speed?

i've bought new karizma 3 months ago and i fell from that for 5-6 times... in last three months... the thing is that... a situation where i've to stop my bike because of some external things... (like Auto in front of me stopped suddenly... OR Car wants to take turn and i'm behind me and i need to control my bike...) I couldn't control my bike... i might be working a wrong technique to stop my bike... please help me in this case... how can i control or stop my bike in such cases?

It is important to use your rear (left) brakes first because if you use front brakes at high speed, the bike will easily tip over forwards. Use the rear brakes first, then slowly add front brakes. Often you don't even need front brakes.
If you suddenly apply the rear brakes at full power, the back wheel is liable to lock up, causing a loss of control and wearing the tyres. Be careful on unsealed/wet roads and new brakes.

ok, well what i do (actually had to do it this morning as a dumb asian beezy stepped off the bus stop curb RIGHT in front of me at 40) is double downshift, slowly let off the clutch and firmly but not too hard apply both brakes. More pressure on the front brakes obviously.

when i ride my bike and i am going at a high speed i use my brakes and put my foot on the ground at the same time.That is my best advise to try to solve your problem!

You are following too close and traveling too fast.......slow down and watch the road and people in front of you..

Firstly apply rear brake.. Leave it n again apply it.. This will provide you better grip n bike will not skit.. And with combimation apply your front brake also.. Bt be carefull...
