How to turn a automatic car smoothly?Do we need to place our foot on the brake while turning the car?

I would be very grateful if anyone helps explain me in detail about turning the car smoothly in a narrow road?

Sorry to answer with a question but it would simply help you understand: have you ever braked hard/suddenly/unsmoothly in general? What did you feel? The front of the car seemed to nose-dive and your body was pushed forward, right?

This feeling is a physical phenomenon called a forward "weight transfer", it means the weight of the car leans somewhat forward and over the front wheel when you brake. When more weight presses on the front tires, they grip the road better and are able to turn the car into the corner better.

So, yes, if you cover the brakes when turning in slow speeds, it will be more effective and safe.

Another thing I must mention is that you need to brake LIGHTLY for two reasons:
1. The forward weight transfer: When the weight goes forward to give the front tires more grip, what happens to the rear wheels? They lose grip. A little is fine, but too much and in speed might make your rear break away.
2. The friction circle: Think of a tire as capable of giving you 100% traction. If you use 50% for braking, how much is left for turning? If you transfer a bit of weight you compensate for this, but too much and you lose traction.
