Not My Real Name is correct, the only driving test that you use your hazard lights is on the truck/bus (CDL) road test. At least in NY anyway.

no when they have u back up its just to see if u can back up in a straight line and its for a short distance they will have you turn on a street with no traffic dont worry its simple no hazards

no, you should put the direction signal to the side that you are going to park your car, if you have to back up to park your car. no i don't think that you need to turn on the hazard lights. Only when driving a big truck.

is it for parallel parking on the road? If so you use your turn signal to designate where your car is going, not your hazard lights.

No it is not.........

It's not a hazard driving in reverse. In fact, you would need to be in reverse to parallel park and do three point turns so, the reverse lights is all you need. Hazard lights are for break downs, going slower than the speed limit and the like.
