I'm 27 and just learned how to drive. The first thing you need to do is find out what the laws are regarding where you live. Does you state have a grauated licensing program, or can you get a full license off the bat. If its a graduated licensing program then you'll probably have to do a written test to get your learners. After that you can go to a drivers school to get lessons and most schools will even let you rent there car for your driver's test. The other thing you can also do is go on your states local dmv website and get info about there licensing programs and tests.

If you have no one to teach you, then you need to take driving lessons, they are people that charge you and teach you! Search online for driving schools near your area. |

Go to driving school. You have to do that sooner or later if you want to learn how to drive. Why not now? Plus, its illegal to drive without a license. |

There are lots of companys that will teach youl. They will even provide the car. Look in the phone book. The one I used even took me to take my driving test. |

Your age is unimportant. You can still learn just as well as anybody else.
However, DO NOT try to learn to drive from a friend or relative. You'll only learn their bad habits!!!
Your going to be piloting a couple of tons of steel, glass and plastic though every conceivable driving situation.
For God's Sake, lady (or anyone else wanting to get their license), take a professional driver's education course. You owe it to yourself, your future passengers, and the rest of the driving public. The cost pales in comparison to a hospital stay or collision repairs, or worse, a lawsuit! |
