yes, its legal. your car has four traditional seats, but if your car has a middle seat. then that is considered a seat too, so your car (technically) is a 5-seater, if it has that middle seat. most 4-seater cars with a middle seat already have seatbelts in the middle. if your car has a middle seat, but not a middle seat belt, you might want to get one installed.
