you sound like you truly thought this one thru. cause i was also thinking about seeing if my cat could fly a jet plane with me operating the door...of course. you see me and you are on the same wave lengths.
don't let those sane people talk you out of something that completely crazy. you hold your ground.... and i'll call the asylum for you. |

i just read an article in the newspaper about a lady who did that. she and her dog didn't get very far before the dog crashed into someone. |

oh,,, it depend on you dude it is a dog and the brain that it has is not like a brain that you have but really so fantastic teaching a dog just try the smooth one before you go to the the most difficult level.be more careful and be patient in teaching it is a dog remember!!!!!!!!!! but really i am amazed about your dog is it really cool where can I havethe same dog too? |

You might as well just go for stick. It's always harder to teach an old dog new tricks as they say. |

Stick shift of course. If you can teach him how to use the clutch, he can drive anything! Will you be getting a pilots license for him also? |

which ever car has vinyl seats so when you crash and the airbags go off, the paramedics/coroner can get all the peices out easier. |

Great Dane=Stick
Yorkie=automatic |

Stick, because it would be funny to see a dog driving and see the car stall in the middle of the inintersection. |

Either one but just make sure that you stick the cat in front of the car. He'll learn fast since most dogs like to chase cats. |

Automatic is probably easier. Since he's a dog, you might want to start with the basics. |

an automatic preferably dogs dont have opposable thumbs so grabbing the shifter may be a problem |

LMAO
... prly stick... that way people will laugh harder at you when your dog crashes your car.... I hope the dog has insurance :) :) :) |
|

so what do you think?
 |
It depends...
is it male or female?
if he's male...I would suggest a stick for obvious reasons. He won't know where to go if he doesn't have something to chase.
and if she's a female....I would suggest an automatic so she has at least one hand available to call the police on Mr. Asher for being rude, crude and abnoxious. |

Dogs should never drive cars. Dogs should only operate Razor scooters and Segways. |

For his first lesson, I would go with the automatic.Coordinating to learn the stick shift will take more time. |

You can really talk the biggest load of Bollox! |

Start with manual. If he starts with automatic it will be too difficult form him to learn manual later.
Unless, of course, your dog is female, in which case one more b**** driving is the last thing that we need. |
