Well, if you can do this maneuver, then you will not pass.
Keep practicing and do not become discouraged with yourself.
Have one of your parents to do this maneuver with you watching in the passenger seat.
When you are reversing around a corner, make sure you put one arm across the passenger seat and keep the other on the steering wheel. This will give you max control when you are turning.
Best wishes! |

You're focussing on it too much and it is being exaggerated.
Practise the other manoeuvres as well and don;t let this one get to you.
You'll be fine on the day.
The secret is getting lined up. Your instructor should be able to point this out to you.
Pick a spot on the rear window when you turn around to reverse. This spot, when lined up with the part of the kerb you CAN see will ensure that you reverse cleanly around the corner.
But your instructor should be helping you with this.
If necessary, and on your own car, use a indelible marker to mark a spot on the outside of the glass. Afterwards, some nail varnish remover will remove the mark. Don't make it too big - you just need to know where it is.
Take it slowly and you'll be fine.
Good Luck. |

Good luck with your test. You are allowed room for error on the test so I wouldn't worry about it. After over 20 yrs. of driving I can still rarely parallel park. But I passed. Certain things you are required to do are given more points for than others. I can't imagine why that one would be high on the list. So if you're confident in everything else you'll be fine. Just keep practicing. |

A lot of people have trouble with getting their head round which way to turn the wheel when they are looking in mirror etc. Get a toy car with a working steering system and watch the wheels as you turn the steering wheel. Make it do the manoeuvre and it sticks in your head really well! |

You will be just fine. I had the same problem & on the day I managed it without a glitch. Just take it slow & talk yourself through it.
Good luck |

Set your mirror to look at the curb around the corner then just as your going to hit it turn the steering wheel other way and straighten up... to the point the wheel looks straight then look forwards and park straight. |

Only thing i can advise is plenty of observations! They are big on this now.
I never used to be able to do it either....also dont use your right hand mirror too much just keep glancing. What is that your doing wrong?
My instructor also told me full lock for square corners and 3/4 turn for normal ones. |
