The tank it self is stirdy, and I bottomed car out on a curb and snapped the strap off, can I still drive??

I don't think anyone can give you a straight yes or no answer without looking at the damage first. Personally I feel it's best to be safe rather than sorry. But it's your call. Take a good look at it. If you think it's safe, then make the call. But, you should get it to a mechanic as soon as you can. |

If you were driving a commercial rig, you would be out of service until it was fixed. The same should apply to personal vehicles. Get thy loved one to a garage and have her fixed! |

The strap is there for a reason! If you hit something again, it could come off completely. That would be much worse! Don't Risk it! |
