I feel really bad for you soldier. If you work for a large corporation then you could probably protest and report your supervisor. If you work for a small company like i'm picturing, you probably can do nothing because in the end they would fire you. My brother was working a side job under the table and missed work for 2 days. They replaced him without any notification. Obviously his employer and yours don't care about you. Don't plan on staying at that job, keep looking for a new job then quit when they need you the most. |

do not tell them you are doing this but call the dept of labor, if this does not work shaft them call osha, tell them you know that the co is violating some policys and they will come out if anything a 10 min cofendital call can be a 6 hour pain in he *** and much fines for your employer. if this does not work call tax man fire martial and anyone else you can think of to skrew them. |

you are getting shafted. Talk to your union rep. If you're an American and a trucker you must belong to the teamsters union. Put in a grievance. |

Slip seating is legal unless you have a union and are under contract. Most companys I drove for kept you at the same rate of pay but they are not really required to. Never give up a dedicated run unless you are hospitalized. Also -- shop around -- unless you have a bad driving record you can almost always give yourself a raise these days. |

Go to EEOC.GOV
I would file a complaint - this is illegal. I took HR Law for my Bachelors. You may be entitled to compensation. On the bright side, if you settle, you may never have to work again :) |

You are probably not gonn like this, BUT If you had belonged to a UNION this probably would not have happen, That's just the Way it is |

check local and state laws, this may be legal or not if it was only three days and you kept them informed
normally if your are being given a lower paying job they are required to give you notice in advance, you may have a case this way |

Doesn't sound right. Your job is protected when you are on disability. The employer must offer you the same job or a similar job when you return. Being out only 3 days hardly counts as a disability. You could probably start with your state's equal employment oppotunity office (EEOC). Good Luck! |

it depends what state you live in.
lot of states allow employers to fire you with cause (no reason at all)
if that's the case you can prove your employer treated you badly, but in the end he can just get rid of you all the same
solution
1. don't get sick
2. move to a country like Canada where we still have rights |
