I have a handicapped child and need to put up signs not to park in front of my house so she can get on the?

school bus more easily without having to go around parked cars . People across the street have these signs posted permanently in front of their house and I need to know where do I go to get them.
There is a little old lady across the street that is almost 100 so I don't want to bother her, but the people that care for her aren't that friendly so I don't want to ask them.

Ask the city/county to install no parking signs in front of your house. Suggest putting limitations such as hours of the restriction to avoid inconveniencing everyone all the time. I would also suggest a letter from your child's doctor discussing the limitations as well as a letter of support from the school district so that it aids them in picking up your child. You could also get a letter from your neighbors stating they don't have any objections to the time-limited parking restrictions. If you can afford it, offer to cover the costs of the signs. |
