SMOKE TAIL LIGHTS & HEAD LIGHTS TINT COVER OVERLAY FILM.
film does not affect the optical clarity of the lights.

You might want to check local laws. It is in some states, but not all of them.

Seems like some places like Florida let things like that go but from what I have read it's illegal in any state to alter the light in any way. So "YES" is my answer. And no matter what the manufacturer claims, there is no way any tint won't effect the light output at all. Impossible.

No it is not legal to tint your lights anywhere. Some get away with it till they get caught and then cry over what it cost them

Its illegal to tint, paint or use covers on both the headlamps as well as the taillights.....
