This can happen because of the trauma from the accident or the nature of the accident. Many people suffer from anxiety as it relates to any type of car accident or anything that they have experienced. You have to think about the nature of the accident. Was it near fatal? Were you injured badly? If so, then that is a reason why you may still feel un-easy about driving. My suggestion to you is to see a therapist. Psychotherapy is helpful because the therapist sits down with you and discusses the past trauma in addition to working past it and coming up with solutions. |

At the time of the accident, extra energy was stored up in your body. Even though it was 9 years ago, that excess energy remains until you intentionally release it.

David Bercelli teaches some simple shaking exercises that help burn off that stored energy. The key to these exercises is to learn how to shake at your own "frequency". In other words, a machine can't shake you. Rather, you have to learn how to allow yourself to shake on its own.

You might try talking to a school counselor, and possibly getting some professional help if necessary.
Sometimes having someone guide you through your fears turns out to be time and effort well spent, and the school counselor or professional should be able to point you in the right direction. |
